Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Careeah when you use the service. By creating an account you accept them.

Who we are

Careeah is operated from the United Kingdom by the sole trader trading as Careeah. You can contact us at support@careeah.com, and we will provide our full details on request.

Who can use Careeah

You must be at least 18 to use Careeah, and you must give accurate information when you register. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.

What Careeah is

Careeah gathers job postings from job boards, applicant tracking systems and companies' own careers pages, and scores them against the profile you build. It is a search and prioritisation tool.

What Careeah is not

• We are not an employer, a recruiter or an employment agency, and we do not act on your behalf with employers.
• We do not write, own or control the job postings we show. They come from third parties and may be inaccurate, out of date, or already filled.
• We cannot promise a role is still open, that the salary shown is what will be offered, or that an employer will sponsor a visa for a particular role, even where the employer holds a sponsor licence.
• A Match Score is an estimate to help you prioritise. It is not career advice, immigration advice or legal advice, and you should verify anything that matters to you before you apply.

Your content

Your profile, your CV and anything else you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store and process that content for the purpose of providing the service to you, which includes sending relevant parts of it to the processors described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, copy or resell the job data or scores you access through Careeah.
• Do not access the service through automated means, or try to work around rate limits or security controls.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or anyone else's personal data without their permission.
• Do not use Careeah to send unsolicited messages or to recruit on behalf of a business.

Price

Careeah is free for candidates today. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you before anything you already use starts costing money.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance. We will give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can.

Ending your account

You can stop using Careeah and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Careeah, including decisions you make on the basis of a Match Score or a job posting shown to you.

Careeah is free to use, so where we are liable to you our total liability for all claims taken together is limited to £100. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date above, and we will tell you directly if the change materially affects your rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
